Whilst working on our own second year films, as part of our module we were required to freelance on a third year project of our choosing. Since I was working as producer on a 2D project in my year, I decided to balance it out with studying stop-motion through the third year project. Initially I was tasked with building sets for Jelly Baby, later becoming an animator, running tests for the team with working on some final shots for the film. I was even asked to be an assistant writer when revamping the story after the third years were given feedback from lecturers. Unfortunately the film was not completed as the sets had to be moved out before the summer. But during the Cecils (Falmouth Animation awards ceremony) in May 2022, they screened what they could of the third year short films, and one of my shots made it into the final film. I was mega-happy
